Job Description
We are currently sourcing for a Data Engineer to work in Fidelity’s Workplace Investing in Durham, NC. Our Data Engineering team is dedicated to developing an infrastructure that will change the way reporting is done across various products and reports. We focus on building an Analytics Repository, a centralized platform designed to support personalized core and common reporting experiences. We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated Data Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, to help transform the analytics landscape!
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB, RDS Postgres and Oracle.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management technologies such as: Air Flow, ControlM etc.
- Cloud abilities specifically in AWS EC2, S3 and IAM.
- Proficiency in Python for at least one year
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationships.
- Full-stack development experience across distributed applications and services
- Experience implementing the Software Development Lifecycle in an agile environment.
Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
