Role Details
- Role: Data Engineer
- Location: UK – remote
- Salary Range: up to £65,000
- Contract Length: 12 months
Requirements
Candidates to be considered for this opportunity MUST hold an appropriate work visa – No sponsorship or work permits provided. And, the candidates have to be present physically in the UK no abroad work options.
Responsibilities
- Process multimedia datasets using online workflows and command line tools/scripts.
- Manage and document multimedia datasets, collaborating with internal teams.
- Optimize data pipeline tooling, working closely with developers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with large spreadsheets/databases (Excel, MySQL).
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, SciPy).
- Comfort with Linux and command line tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Bonus Points
Knowledge of machine learning/AI. Interest in sound/audio (musical instruments, audio recordings, music production).
