Position Information

Position: Cassandra DBA with Python

Location: Concord, CA (Need Local to 40 Miles Only)

Type: Contract

Required Skill:

• Hands-on with Apache Cassandra.
• Concept of Data Modelling
• Cassandra's Architectural skills.
• Cassandra Schema and Table design skills.
• Hands-on Cassandra Query Language.
• Deployment, Setup, and Support of Production, Non-Production Cassandra clusters.
• Working knowledge of the infrastructure details and capacity planning for the Cassandra cluster.
• Indexing and Search technologies
• Good knowledge of Python development.
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate strategy
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code that follows good coding practice

Role And Responsibility

• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Designing the tables, indexes, views, etc.
• Provide the solution to retrieve the data.
• Manage the Cassandra Clusters and Data Distribution on Different Nodes.
• Creating the functions in Java or any other Cassandra-supported language.
• Working with cross-team to analyse and understand the requirement.
• Minimum Exp 10+ Years
