Your Role and Responsibilities

As a DevOps Software Developer, you will be part of a core team of developers, architects and product managers building the next generation of market-leading security products.

Your expertise at building highly automated, large-scale, high-performance, and reliable systems on OpenShift / Kubernetes will be critical, as you integrate core technologies in Threat Management. In this senior role, you will be expected to display a high level of technical knowledge and leadership as well as being an excellent hands-on developer.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proven hands-on experience as DevOps
    • working with shell scripts and automation languages including Python, Ansible, GoLang, etc, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
    • operating Kubernetes clusters or RedHat OpenShift Platform
    • familiar with at least 1 cloud provider from AWS, IBMCloud, Azure or GCP.
    • working with infrastructure as code with Terraform, JavaScript & Go, implementing and automating deployments on Kubernetes using tools like Helm or Kustomize
    • operating services of relational databases (Postgres), key-value (Redis) and message systems like Kafka or Rabbit-mq.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with a global team

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge and work experience:
    • with GitOps architecture and tools like ArgoCD
    • developing software with Golang, specially if writing Kubernetes operators.
    • on security and compliance, working with security scanning tools and validating the software supply chain of software
    • with Prometheus metrics and Thanos storage, setting up observability systems based on opentelemetry or other tools.
    • exposure to Open Source (adoption and contributions)
  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or equivalent experience
