Role of an Engineering Manager
As an engineering manager at Canonical, the primary responsibility is to ensure the growth and well-being of the team, represent the team in partner engagements, and deliver stable and functional Ubuntu image products for a variety of modern workloads. Technical and management skills are essential, along with the ability to lead and mentor strong engineers while influencing the engineering culture and facilitating technical delivery.

- Software development experience in Python or Golang
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Practical experience with at least one of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
- Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or similar degree
