Lead MLOps Python Engineer
Location: Manchester/ Hybrid
Salary: £60-80k
(Also a Senior Role available £50-65k in the same team - please apply if this suits more!)

We have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about Python engineering, MLOps & Machine Learning with one of our start-up/ scaling clients based right in Manchester City Centre. They are a fantastic company who help their customers with their AI innovation and productionising AI models and work with them to add real business value. You will be working with open-source tools and be able to work with a fantastic range of clients on super exciting projects right from the start of your career here. Role
- You would work directly with customers to build & deploy cutting edge solutions in the ML, LLM space. (you do not need to be a ML expert)
- You would be leading projects with customers from start to finish.
- You will mentor and lead other engineers (up to around 4 people) on the project delivery (technical leadership)
- As part of your role you will be given time to research weekly; looking at new technologies - bringing these into projects and be part of producing content around this for the business.
- There is also plenty of collaboration between the team members, to share & review ideas and thoughts.
Skills
- Eligible for SC
- Python Engineering
- Experience working across ML, DS or MLOps
- Cloud & Devops experience (can be any vendor)
- Experience leading small projects or sprints
