Salary 65,000 - 75,000 GBP per year

Requirements

  • PhD level education in a relevant discipline
  • At least two published research papers on Machine Learning, Statistics, or optimization
  • Advanced knowledge of decision-making techniques (e.g., Bayesian optimization, bandits, reinforcement learning, active learning) and methods (e.g., Gaussian processes, Bayesian neural networks, variational inference)
  • Experience with Python numerical programming (e.g., NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Ideally, an interest in the automotive sector and sustainability

Responsibilities

  • Work independently to develop a research program and new tools and techniques for probabilistic models, Bayesian optimization, and related fields
  • Actively engage in team collaborations to meet research goals and report research findings internally and externally
  • Contribute research to product development and customer research projects
  • Contribute to the company's open source libraries
