Description
SAIC is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer and Python Developer Intern to collaborate with a team of key individuals to perform model-based system engineering tasks, utilizing methodologies such as UAF, BOMN2, SysML, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system models to capture system architecture, requirements, and behavior.
- Translate system requirements into system designs and specifications.
- Develop Python scripts to automate data extraction processes from various sources.
- Utilize Python libraries and tools to manipulate and preprocess extracted data for analysis.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions accordingly.
- Explore opportunities for utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to process and analyze data.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in model-based system engineering, Python scripting, artificial intelligence, and machine learning technologies.
- Document and present findings, methodologies, and solutions to team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least one year of technical coursework already completed.
- Solid understanding of model-based system engineering principles and methodologies such as UAF, BOMN2, and SysML.
- Proficiency in Python programming language, with experience in developing scripts for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data processing techniques and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or coursework in artificial intelligence and machine learning is a plus.
