CGI has an immediate need for a Object Oriented Python Developer to join our team in Reston, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. Preferred location is Reston, VA, but the position is open to Remote work anywhere in the US where there is a local CGI Office.
Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a strong OO Python Developer (AWS) with production experience to work on AWS cloud integration using Python in a highly dynamic and fast-paced Agile environment. This incumbent is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and evolving the AWS cloud integration of applications and services, including the development of Rest APIs and Lambdas.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Accomplished OO Python developer (3+ years' experience)
- Extensive coding experience with OO Python based products in AWS, including serverless infrastructure
- Experience with the creation of Rest APIs and Lambdas in Python
- Experience in designing and developing python integrated solutions using AWS services
- Experience in CI/CD frameworks, agile release management, and DevOps functions
- Experience with revision control source code repositories
- Experience with Dynamo DB and Redshift
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirement
B.S. of Computer Science or similar
