Description
Immediately seeking a GIS python algorithm developer to enhance an application for the mining industry. The application uses algorithms to help with the road conditions in mine sites, where the excavators are moving nonstop. The application can leverage historical geographic data to make suggestions and send alerts to the operators and controllers to avoid manually needing to fix roads, increasing efficiency and safety.
Must Have
- Experience with geospatial data handling and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Familiarity with libraries like GeoPandas, Shapely, and GDAL for geospatial analysis.
- Knowledge of algorithms related to pathfinding and optimization (e.g., Dijkstra, A*).
