Python Developer

Position Summary

Develops Python code utilizing cloud-based development environments. Implements Trunk-based development methodology within Git for version control, ensuring regular code pushes. Participates actively in code reviews through pull-requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively in a small team of developers alongside a solution architect, focusing on specific service development.
• Contributes to the development of a middleware layer for service integration between OSS and BSS platforms.
• Completes assigned work packages within designated project streams.

Essential Qualifications

Holds a Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields.

Work Experience

• Proficient in Python development utilizing a Google Cloud Workstation.
• Experience with Trunk-based development methodology within Git, ensuring daily code pushes.
• Actively involved in code reviews through pull-requests.
• Ability to translate requirements into executable development tasks.
• Experience implementing unit and system tests using Pytest and PytestBDD.
• Demonstrated adherence to Python coding standards and best practices.
• Experience deploying services on cloud platforms with a basic understanding of major providers like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
