Python Developer

Kopius is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team! The project is within the Data Distribution industry and is based in Chicago, IL.

About the role:

As a Python Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in constructing robust data pipelines tailored to gather information from various websites.

Basic Qualifications:

• Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in English.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter, fast learner, and flexible to adapt to new technologies, as well as legacy applications.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Qualifications for the role:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with experience deploying Ethereum blockchain projects.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, Fargate, and containerization technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and access controls.
• Knowledge of Ethereum blockchain technology, including smart contracts, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and decentralized consensus mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Ethereum HTLC (Hashed Timelock Contracts) for secure and trustless cross chain transactions, including implementation and integration.
• Experience with Metamask.
• Familiarity with Ethereum development frameworks tools such as Truffle, Remix, and Web3.js.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with TypeScript / JavaScript. React experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• Configure the new AWS environment for testnet deployment with the correct access controls, application containers, and networking.
• Deploy development testnet environment with the following components: The core blockchain, smart contract, UI portal, EES, Exchange rate service, & registration service.
• Verify the functionality and interoperability across all project components.
• Identify and resolve any networking issues encountered during deployment and testing phases.
• Patch minor bugs to enhance the overall stability and reliability of the testnet environment.
• Deploy successfully a testnet environment.
• Deploy successfully to production.
