Short Term Contract - 3 Weeks

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Python Flask developer to join our team on a short-term contract basis to assist with replacing a legacy image asset management tool with a SaaS solution such as Cloudinary or equivalent.
This project involves migrating existing assets to the new tool and integrating it seamlessly into our mature Flask application.

Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and scope of the project.
Replace the existing image asset management tool with a SaaS solution like Cloudinary or equivalent.
Migrate existing image assets to the new tool while ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to the application.
Ensure smooth integration of the new tool into the Flask application, including any necessary adjustments to the existing codebase.
Work closely with the team to troubleshoot any issues or bugs that arise during the migration process.
Provide regular updates on progress and participate in daily catch-up meetings.

Solid experience with Python Flask development.
Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation tasks.
Familiarity with AWS services, particularly EC2, for configuration and deployment purposes.
Experience with MongoDB or similar databases for managing image metadata.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
