We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our small, but growing team.
Role Overview
As a Software Developer at Priceworx® you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing software solutions to drive our SaaS offerings forward. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build scalable and robust systems. We’re about to embark on an exciting new project that leverages AI and data models to predict future labour and material cost increases/ decreases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the back end of our analytics and prediction platform.
- Work on NoSQL databases with a focus on Firebase, MongoDB, or equivalent technologies.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to integrate various data-driven technologies and insights.
- Continuously learn and implement new technologies within the Google Cloud Platform stack, including Cloud Functions, IAM, and Storage.
- Contribute to team discussions on software architecture, development processes, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python.
- Proven experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Firebase Firestore or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with the principles and practices of SaaS platform development.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Functions, IAM, and Storage.
- Experience with data modeling
- Python programming experience and the ability to work alongside Data Engineers and Scientists.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.
