Position Overview

The Python Developer is a hybrid role that combines software development and web-based programming skills to develop, implement, and maintain web applications and databases. The successful candidate will collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and software architects to develop optimal solutions that are secure, reliable, and scalable. The Python Developer should have a working knowledge of Python, PHP, Java, SQL, AWS, and IoT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development life cycle.
  • Create new software applications or modify existing software as needed.
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs.
  • Verify program functionality by conducting tests, modifying program sequence and/or codes.
  • Document program development and revisions.
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide technical support by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, and questions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, PHP, Java, SQL, AWS, and IoT.
  • Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting software applications.
  • Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
