Job Title: Remote Principal Technologist (Software Engineer/Programmer)
Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must reside in PA, DE, VA, MD, DC, or WV for conversion)
Salary: Up to $145,000 per year (based on experience)

Position Overview:
As a Principal Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of software solutions. This position is very focused on software engineering and programming, requiring expertise in Django, Python, Docker, Git, and API development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
- Lead the development of complex applications using Django, Python, and other frameworks.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and Git for version control.
- Design and implement APIs to enable seamless integration between systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and programming.
- Proficiency in Django, Python, and other relevant frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Docker, Git, and API development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid Green Card due to govt rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Previous experience working in a remote environment.
