Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, extending, and improving an existing CI/CD environment and a framework for automating software test execution and document generation
• Improving and maintaining the test system for embedded Linux devices and cloud-based applications
• Creating test cases for integration and automating their execution
• Ensuring the highest software quality standards through unit tests, integration tests, and hardware-in-the-loop tests
• Guiding team members in applying best practices in modern software test automation
• Closely collaborating with embedded software engineers to understand their requirements
• Improving and maintaining test processes and infrastructure

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in test automation of software for embedded Linux devices and cloud-based applications
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Excellent knowledge of Python
• Experience with modern CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar
• Experience in test automation, e.g., Robot Framework, Behave, or similar
• Proficient in source code management with Git
• Excellent German language skills and fluent in written and spoken English
