Job Opportunity

  • Location: Philadelphia (Hybrid - 3 days in Center City Office / 2 days at home)
  • Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced web applications using Django, Python, and Vue.
  • Lead the architecture design, implementation, and scaling of new and existing systems.
  • Manage full project lifecycle from conception to completion with iterative testing and maintenance.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed while ensuring security and data protection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to define user requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing efforts.
  • Integrate various databases and data sources into a cohesive and efficient system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with substantial expertise in Django and Python.
  • Proven experience as a tech lead or senior developer on multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end build pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools.
  • Proficient in using version control tools such as Git.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with a distributed team.
