Senior Python & JavaScript Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer with Python and JavaScript expertise to work from home for a challenging project in the US.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or a related field
• At least one prior full-time position as a software engineer
• Minimum two years of hands-on experience with Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Knowledge of front-end debugging with browser developer tools
• Knowledge of UI/UX design
• Knowledge of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of web services, API, and REST
• Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateways, SQS, EC2, S3)
• Comfortable with the Linux command line and Git
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical mind

Desired Qualifications

• AWS certification (Practitioner or Associate)
• Experience working with any front-end technologies like React, Angular or Vue.js
• Automation - CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Ability to share a code sample and give a walkthrough
