Responsibilities
Kforce's client is seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer (Python, Quant) in Boston, MA. Summary: The Senior Software Engineer (Python, Quant) will build complex, highly scalable solutions for quantitative investing. You will collaborate with a talented team of quant engineers and researchers to develop, implement, and deploy to production quantitative models that support research, portfolio management and asset allocation decisions. This role is ideal for experienced software engineers with proven experience implementing quantitative models and a passion for learning things.
Requirements
- BS or MS in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Math
- Five or more years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience implementing financial quantitative models
- Strong applied math skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) is a plus
- Knowledge of Java/Scala/C++ is a plus
Compensation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
