Vacancy

For our team / Area 1 "Science of Quality" we are looking for an active, highly qualified (m/f/x) Software Engineer C++/CUDA/Python specializing in Particle Simulation Software (DEM, SPH, couplings between solvers) with Ref. No. SK105.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Work on our particle simulation software (written in C++/CUDA, Python)
• Continuous improvement of code, automated testing schemes, build system, and implementation of new features
• Testing and documentation, code reviews
• Possible topics: Discrete Element Method (DEM), Smoothed Particle Hydronamics (SPH), couplings to SPH or other CFD solvers

Ihr Profil

• Good knowledge of C++
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with data processing, for example with Python
• Experience with version control systems (we use Git/GitLab)
• Nice to have: experience with testing strategies and environments
• Nice to have: experience with administrating GitLab and continuous integration environments
• Nice to have: experience with CUDA, Cmake, scripting languages
• Nice to have: experience with high-performance computing strategies
