Software Engineering Specialist - Python/Perl - Pune

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar engineering field, a Master’s is a plus
• 4-7 years of hands-on experience as a software developer with main languages such as Perl, Python, Shell, and SQL
• Hands on experience with REST APIs, messaging services (such as Kafka), and microservices
• 4-7 years of development experience in agile methodology, CI/CD tools, testing, and automation.
• Hands on experience with one of the public cloud providers (such as AWS, GCP, AZURE)
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker. DevOps knowledge and related tools (e.g., Jenkins) are an advantage
• Good knowledge of industry standards (such as OAS YAML) and cutting-edge technological tools and software libraries.
• Ability to translate customer needs into concrete solutions and to provide implementation recommendations
• Ability to evaluate new tools and solutions, create Proof of Concept (POCs), and present them to stakeholders.
• Experience with billing, payment, and finance domains is a plus
