Work Flexibility
If you are located in Raleigh, NC, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. If you are located outside of Raleigh, NC, you will enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S.
Primary Responsibilities
- Agile development through collaborating with QA and Business Analysis team members
- Ensuring the quality, architecture, and accuracy of released code
- Evaluating and learning new technologies that would provide business value
- Taking ownership of the assigned applications
- Be a hands-on individual contributor as well as guide and mentor team members
- Ability to engage in Architectural design conversations and decisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years core python development experience
- 5+ years hands-on experience in object-oriented programming using Python
- 5+ years of Numpy and Pandas experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Big Data Tools and Technologies. Oozie, Pyspark, Docker/Kubernetes, Sqoop, Microsoft Azure Full Stack, Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Exposure to HEDIS measures and FHIR knowledge
- Exposure to HEDIS, CMS, QARR, PQA and other state customized measures certification programs of NCQA
- Shell scripting experience
- Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in member claim processing, provider logic implementation, and member enrollment
- Healthcare industry experience

Salary and Benefits
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
