StudyPlanner Offering Student Positions for Python / JavaScript Programmers

The StudyPlanner (https://studyplanner.co.cit.tum.de) is a web application that assists TUM students in planning their courses for the upcoming semesters until the end of their studies. StudyPlanner already works for degree programs in mathematics. The next step is extending it to all computer science and electrical engineering degree programs at TUM. For this, we need your help!

As you may know, we recently launched the StudyPlanner (https://studyplanner.co.cit.tum.de), a web application that assists TUM students in planning their courses for the upcoming semesters until the end of their studies.

StudyPlanner already works for degree programs in mathematics. The next step is extending it to all computer science and electrical engineering degree programs at TUM. For this, we need your help! Therefore, we now have openings for student positions to develop the StudyPlanner further.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Develop a tool that helps you and all your fellow students
  • First-hand experience scaling up a web application
  • A student position for roughly 10hrs/week (exact working time is negotiable) until the end of December 2024 (can potentially be extended)
  • Flexible working hours as part of a small team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Programming skills in Python
  • Optionally: Programming Skills in JavaScript
  • Experience with Git, the Flask web framework, and Vue.js are a plus
  • Being able to work independently
  • Good communication skills
