Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy backend solutions independently or in collaboration with a small team.
- Rapidly prototype solutions and create Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for client demonstration.
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to meet project requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into technical requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken).
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development.
- Impeccable punctuality.
- Proficiency in Front-End technologies such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Knowledge of Python (Django), SQL (Postgres), AWS services, Terraform, Athena, Step Functions, and Elasticsearch.
- Understanding of AWS, CloudFront, and load balancers.
- Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models.
- Proficiency in designing and developing microservices or other distributed systems.
- Experience with scaling to handle large data sets.
- Effective communication and influence skills at a senior engineer level.
- Proficiency in Agile software development methodology.
Nice to have:
- Java.
- Containers Terraform, Docker.
- Previous experience with Portals.
- Adhering to SDLC.
- Flutter experience.
- Consulting experience strongly preferred.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
