System Development Engineer (Python & AWS)

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Python development + AWS infrastructure experience.
• Lead design, implementation, testing and delivery of solutions.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with customers and dependencies to ensure quality delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of object-oriented Python programming and web services/API development experience.
• 2+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Foundational understanding of core AWS services in Compute, Networking, Storage, and Security.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation such as CloudFormation and CDK.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows based systems with proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like ReactJS.
