Technical Python Lead Engineer Role

As a Tech Lead specializing in Cloud Access Control, your role will be pivotal within a specialized team that handles the crucial services of our cloud infrastructure. These core services include:

  • Access Control System: Ensuring the right users have access to the appropriate resources, an essential component of secure cloud operations.
  • Public and internal analytics tools: Design and build systems that collect, process, and analyze data to provide actionable insights. These tools are instrumental in identifying trends, predicting future needs, and driving strategic decision-making.
  • Lifecycle of Cloud Resources: Managing the lifecycle of cloud resources is a key task, ranging from the creation to the retirement of resources. This function maintains the orderliness, cost-effectiveness, and performance of the cloud system.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the creation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions right from the groundwork. Your contributions will have a profound impact on our services and the users who rely on them.

Your Responsibilities

Designing and implementing access control features that offer convenience and flexibility for our users. Writing efficient and high-quality Python code using FastAPI, Tornado relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), RabbitMQ, Redis, and Kubernetes as part of the technology stack. Monitoring the performance and reliability of the services within your team’s scope of responsibility.

We expect you to have

  • Strong Python web development skills, including experience with asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others.
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Passion for technology

Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating RBAC solutions
  • Knowledge of OpenStack architecture and its components
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, GitLab CI
