Job Opening: Test Automation Engineers
We are currently looking for 2 Test Automation Engineers with experience in safety-critical domains for a radar display solution project. The ideal candidate will possess high rigor and proven experience in the Air Traffic Management Domain or another safety-critical domain, with a focus on requirements and tests involving mission-critical software. Proficiency in both automatic and manual testing is essential. This role offers a challenge within a complex technical environment and involves participation in a highly qualified team for software specification and testing.
Responsibilities
- Work autonomously within an Agile team to foster a spirit of continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain the Software Requirements Specification.
- Develop and maintain test cases.
- Review and test against the Software Requirements Specification to establish test traceability.
- Write automatic test scripts for the test automation environment (C++, Squish, Python).
- Execute both manual and automatic tests, reporting results.
- Analyze and describe issues/bugs in the issues database.
- Synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.
- Conduct formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test).
- Perform defect/incident analysis to identify root causes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety-critical domain is ideal.
- Demonstrated experience in writing software requirement specifications and in software testing.
- Familiarity with tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is appreciated.
- Proven experience with test automation tools; experiences with Squish, Jenkins are major advantages.
- Development experience in C++ or Python is valued.
- High analytical capacity to understand end-user needs and translate them into software requirements for the Development Team or into test cases.
- Adaptable, autonomous, rigorous, and a team player.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
- High resistance to stress and flexibility.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Nice to have
Proficiency in German and/ or French is a plus. Experience in domains with real-time and security requirements, with familiarity in standards such as ESARR6/EC482, ED153, IEC61508, and ISO12207, will be considered a significant advantage.
