Role Overview
- As the Aggregation Analyst you will need:
- To be an analytical problem-solver looking to make a positive impact
- Inspired by developing the data and tools that drive the market’s understanding and control of catastrophe risk
- Use of outwards reinsurance
- You will continue to develop the skills and knowledge to become a technical expert, collating and analysing data from syndicates to enable effective catastrophe risk oversight across the Lloyd’s market. You will need to be a solution-driven individual, with problem-solving and technical programming skills, an interest in catastrophe risk and exposure management and the curiosity to learn more about how statistical data influences the Lloyd’s market catastrophe risk strategy.
Requirements
- A degree in a numerate or natural science subject
- Demonstrable experience of solving complex statistical problems analysis and coding is required
- Open minded to any quantitative background or data science aspirations within (re)insurance, catastrophe modelling, risk analytics or capital modelling knowledge would be hugely advantageous
- SQL skills and comfortable with programming language such as R or Python is essential
- Any prior experience in the following would be beneficial and / or developed in the role; Excel/VBA, Tyche/Igloo/Remetrica, R Shiny, Qlik or PowerBI
