Job Opportunity

Luxoft is currently searching for a talented software engineer to join the Development & Engineering Department. The engineer will design and implement embedded software for systems known for their high precision.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the current embedded SW implementation
• Working closely with Functional Engineers to clarify requirements and translate them into high-quality software
• Implementing new requirements by modifying the current baselines
• Creating and maintaining design documentation based on requirements
• Qualifying and creating tests for new implementations and maintaining the testing environments
• Resolving issues and troubleshooting based on feedback from the field or factory
• Evaluating technical issues, risks, dependencies, planning, and estimation

Mandatory Skills Description

• Senior engineer with at least 10 years of working experience
• Technologies involved:
  • Python
  • C++
  • Embedded C
  • Code composition: 70% Python, 20% C, 10% C++
  • Embedded Linux
  • Object-Oriented Design/CI/CD/GIT

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Gtest, Robot framework, ClearCase, Polarion, MATLAB, JIRA
• Shell scripting
• Previous experience with Agile SAFe/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience in ASML WoW

Languages
