Job Overview
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Python programming language
- Strong experience with any database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases)
- Basic understanding of big data concepts and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly S3, EC2, EMR
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Query and manipulate data using Python and SQL
- Perform data analysis and generate reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement solutions
- Support the development and deployment of big data applications on AWS
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering
Additional Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a data engineering or related role
- Experience working in a cloud computing environment (AWS preferred)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
