THIS IS AN ON-SITE ONLY POSITION

Responsibilities

• Rewriting code to conform to best practices
• Development of new features as requested by customers
• May assist with customer triage request
• Perform routine audits of systems and software
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
• Design and develop robust and scalable Python-based applications
• Write efficient and testable code
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing systems
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Linux Administrator
• Experience with REST APIs
• Git version control is desirable
• Knowledge of computer hardware a plus (hard drives, RAID cards, etc.)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Proven experience as a Python Developer
• Solid understanding of software development best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
