Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Python Developer - Remote for a contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in Jacksonville, FL. This role will be remote.
Top Skills Needed
- RESTful Architecture style/Developing REST API Services.
- Methodical approach to evaluate various libraries with pros and cons to meet business / technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of the library that were used in their projects.
- Fully involved in technical grooming, implementing, and maintaining solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code, and Git for REST Python services and continuous deployment.
- Testing the application and developing automated process to perform various tests locally using PyTest.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions using Python to enable firm's Customer Experience applications.
- Responsible for documentation of the system, conduct unit tests, peer code reviews and maintenance of internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products.
- Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experience.
- 5-8 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience.
- Must have experience developing back-end processes and API services using Python.
- Excellent understanding of RESTful Architecture style.
- Excellent understanding of Python programming mode and required libraries to develop REST API Services.
Preferred Skills
- Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc.
- Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology.
- Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary.
- Relevant Development certifications.
