We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract Senior Python Engineer. This is a crucial role where you will play a key part in the development and maintenance of their cutting-edge projects. If you are passionate about Python, possess strong AWS skills (including VPC, EC2, and S3), and have proficiency in Java, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

1. Python Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable Python applications.
2. AWS Expertise:** CloudFormation and Terraform is a must** Utilise your extensive AWS knowledge, specifically in VPC, EC2, and S3, to architect and maintain robust cloud solutions.
3. Java Proficiency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to projects that involve both Python and Java components.
4. Code Review and Optimisation: Conduct thorough code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and optimise existing codebase for performance.
5. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex software issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the system.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in Python, Java & AWS
- Strong familiarity with EC2, S3, VPC
- Excellent knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Proficiency in DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies.
