Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Python hands-on senior developer - architect to lead the development of Python based ELT framework development., focusing primarily on the Extract and Load components, utilizing AWS EC2 and SQL. This role is crucial for our data management and analytics capabilities, and the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our ELT strategy and framework for us.

Key Responsibilities

  • ELT Framework Development:

    Design and implement a Python-based ETL framework, with a focus on efficient data extraction and loading processes.

    Optimize the ELT framework for performance and reliability, ensuring seamlessly work in AWS ecosystem.

  • Data Extraction & Loading:

    Develop robust methods for data extraction from various sources.

    Implement effective loading techniques to move data into the target data systems.

  • Leadership and Team Building:

    Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert in Python ELT processes.

    Lead the future development and expansion of the Python Framework team, mentoring and guiding new team members.

  • SQL and Data Systems Integration:

    Utilize advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and integration with the ELT processes.

    Ensure smooth interoperability of the ELT framework with various data systems and databases.

  • Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:

    Implement best practices in ELT development and data management.

    Stay updated with the latest trends in ELT technologies and Python development, incorporating new techniques as applicable.

Hands-on Skills

Extensive experience in Python, particularly in developing ELT frameworks. Strong experience with AWS EC2 and cloud-based data processing. Proficient in SQL and experience with various database technologies. Exposure in building ELT solutions for large-scale data systems. Knowledge of additional cloud services and data warehousing solutions.
