Job Description
The C&Q team operates within an agile environment, employing the SAFe and Scrum frameworks. Collaborating closely with your team members and the Mechatronics group, your primary objective will be to develop and deliver top-tier software procedures essential for maintaining the precise functionality of our Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) products. These procedures, crucial for ensuring the accuracy of our high-end microscopes, are executed and tested directly on the instruments themselves. Therefore, acquiring comprehensive system knowledge and hands-on experience is paramount. Additionally, you'll need to grasp internal customer demands, including use cases and requirements, and adeptly translate MATLAB algorithms into efficient Python procedures to meet these needs effectively.
Technical Skills
- Proven Reliability: Demonstrated experience in designing highly reliable software for production environments.
- Python Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and proven experience in Python development, including applications and algorithms.
- High-Tech System Experience: Proven track record in software development for high-tech systems.
- Integration and Re-use: Understanding of software integration and re-usability principles.
- Hands-On Experience: Experience working with hardware/test systems in R&D settings.
- Open Mindset: Willingness to contribute to process improvement and adapt to evolving methods and techniques.
