Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting Python applications to satisfy business requirements in an AWS environment.
- Working collaboratively with the development team to design and implement eLearning modules.
- Utilizing Flask and Django frameworks for web application development.
- Leveraging AWS Cloud Services for the development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
- Providing technical support for web, desktop, or mobile applications.
- Participating in the full software development life cycle from concept to deployment.
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
- Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Contributing to team meetings and offering innovative ideas for product development.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python programming.
- Proven experience with AWS and Python preferably in the e-learning training industry.
- AWS Cloud Certified or equivalent certification preferred.
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, or Pyramid).
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5).
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Strong unit test and debugging skills.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
In addition to these technical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should also be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
