Summary
Stax is supporting a pioneering software company and the creator of the world's most scalable conversational AI platform tailored for enterprises. They are searching for a highly proficient and self-driven Senior Software Engineer to become a part of their team. This role entails overseeing the technical development of voice integrations, ensuring that design considerations meet nonfunctional requirements and uphold availability and stability. The selected candidate's expertise will be pivotal in defining new voice integration scopes, primarily using Python, and collaborating closely with the Head of Voice to establish a forward-looking strategy, efficient scoping, and top-notch deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Leading the technical development of voice integrations to guarantee that all designs encompass nonfunctional prerequisites, ensuring SLAs' availability and stability.
- Engaging in the scoping process for fresh voice integrations, working closely with stakeholders to collect requirements and propose inventive solutions.
- Collaborating with the Head of Voice to outline a strategy that is prepared for the future, guaranteeing adequate scoping, delivering high-quality outputs, and optimizing team performance.
- Enabling automation through the incorporation of testing tools, enhancing development speed and agility.
- Identifying and mitigating technical challenges and risks during the development lifecycle.
- Carrying out code assessments, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contributing to the complete development, testing, and rollout of voice integrations.
- Establishing connections with internal and external resources to grasp development and maintenance requirements, also serving as a subject matter expert for our partner's voice offerings.
Ideal Candidate Experience
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality code and steering the technical direction of development.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly employed in voice development, particularly Python.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with relational databases and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux for development.
- Experience with voice integrations and channels.
